Flying Colors started thirty years ago with one painter, one truck, and a stretch of mountain homes that needed real attention. The first jobs were simple — a porch in Cullowhee, a cabin near Cherokee, a house off Skyland — but the ethic was already there: show up clean, prep deep, paint sharp, leave it better than we found it.
Three decades later, Flying Colors is a small, tight crew working out of Sylva, NC. Our work fans out across Jackson, Macon, Swain, and Haywood counties — interiors and exteriors, decks and cabins, trim and chimneys. Same standard every job. Same family running it.
Most of our work comes from referrals — neighbors who watched us repaint the place across the street and called the next morning. That's the bar. We're not chasing volume; we're chasing finish quality. If a job's not done right, we don't take payment. Simple as that.
